CEO and founder of QSP-Marketing Management & Research, Rui has a professional resume that includes participation and supervision of various qualitative and quantitative projects in various sectors of economic activity, as well as in various research and neuromarketing studies. He was a speaker at the 1st QSP Summit with a presentation called “Brand – Creating Value” and has annually coordinated the organization of this International Conference. He has participated in some of the largest marketing and management conferences in the world.
Rui was the General Director of the Media Capital Group, collaborating with various media organizations such as TVI, Diário Económico, Semanário Económico, Fortunas & Negócios, Marketing & Publicidade, Briefing, PcWorld, Computerworld, IOL, Publifaces, TCS, LUX and Maxim, among others. He held the position of Director of Advertising for Rádio Comercial, Rádio Cidade, Rádio Nostalgia, Rádio Nacional and Rádio Romântica. He directed the Marketing and Advertising departments of TSF, Grande Reportagem, Rádio Energia and XFM. His professional experience also includes serving as Deputy Director of Rádio Nova Era.
Holds an Executive MBA from Porto Business School U.P. (University of Porto) and a Master’s degree in Business Management from IESF-Institute of Higher Studies in Finance and Taxation. He supplements his professional experience with intensive academic and professional training, highlighting economic-financial training, with the completion of the General Course in Finance taught by Porto Business School, and executive training at IESE – University of Navarra. He has training in Multicultural Protocol and Training in Creativity and Emotional Intelligence, among others. Rui also attended the Management Course at ISAG. He studied the ideas, theories and methodologies of the leading gurus of today, participating in various national and international congresses, workshops and seminars. He is responsible for bringing speakers such as Malcolm Galdwell, Fareed Zakaria, Kevin Keller, David Aaker, Michio Kaku, Ori Brafman, Neil Bearden, Andrew Stephen, Leonard Berry, Jean Noel Kapeferer, Nirmalya Kumar, Nader Tavassoli, Miklos Sarvary, Hermawan Kartajaya, among others to Portugal. He also has a Training Course for Trainers and is a member of APPM; CMO Council and American Marketing Association. Has several articles published in newspapers such as Económico; Marketeer magazine; Meios e Publicidade magazine, among others.
